Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of SignalForge (the "Service"), operated by [Legal Entity Name] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What SignalForge is

SignalForge is a paper-trading journal and market-scanning tool for cryptocurrency assets. It generates signals from technical analysis (moving averages, RSI, ATR-based stops, multi-timeframe regime detection) and simulates trade outcomes using live market prices.

SignalForge does not execute real trades, hold funds, or connect to any exchange or brokerage account. All positions, fills, and P&L shown in the app are simulated for tracking and educational purposes only. No real money is ever placed at risk through the Service.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing in the Service — signals, scores, regime labels, the Discipline Score, or any other output — constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Cryptocurrency markets are volatile and speculative. You are solely responsible for any real-world trading decisions you make, whether or not informed by the Service. Past or simulated performance shown in the Service is not indicative of future results, real or simulated.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account.

4. Accounts, trials, and cancellation

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to access another customer's data or account; (b) reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its data feeds; (c) use the Service to build a competing product; (d) interfere with the Service's normal operation (e.g. excessive automated requests outside documented limits); or (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Market data and third parties

The Service displays market data sourced from third-party providers (including Binance and Pyth Network). We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or timeliness of third-party data. Price feeds can be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, signal logic, and content, is owned by [Legal Entity Name] and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal trading-journal purposes — nothing more.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Legal Entity Name] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any trading losses (real or simulated) arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
